Discover the Importance of Stewardship
As a community and non-profit organization, the Bill and Joyce Hague Foundation is dedicated to:
Protecting Natural Areas
Our mission is to preserve and protect natural areas including our first nature preserve-
Hague Nature Preserve
Land Restoration and Stewardship
Our board members and volunteers have helped in restoration and stewardship by removing invasive plants and by planting native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers.
Education and Advocacy
Our foundation knows Hague Nature Preserve and other areas will be best protected when others learn about their special flora and fauna and how to protect these places.

Hague Nature Preserve
Upon acquisition of this beautiful 64-acre property, ecological restoration of the former farm field got underway. Board members and our wonderful volunteers planted over 2,000 trees and shrubs, plus cover crops to restore soil health. The changes seen in just the first few years have been remarkable! iNaturalist Project: Hague Nature Preserve
Identification of the flora and fauna found at the preserve is an important step in restoration. Volunteers are needed to search for and record wildlife observation. Can you volunteer?
