Let us introduce ourselves...

Our Founders

Joyce, Bill, and their beloved dog Andy next to Sycamore Creek near the current Hague Preserve
Bill and Joyce Hague grew up in rural West Virginia and Ohio. They spent their lives building a business that manufactured water treatment equipment. It was their goal to make good water available to homes around the world. Both greatly enjoyed visiting national parks and hiking in them, especially with their three sons. Bill and Joyce valued these trips because of the beauty of natural places. Those experiences helped them recognize the need to protect nature. After Bill’s death, Joyce was inspired to create this foundation so that the wonderful things they learned over the years can be shared with everyone.
Their Legacy
Hague Foundation hopes you will share their enduring legacy by learning about natural land stewardship and promoting restoration of green spaces. Together, we can make a difference!
