Lovely Old Sycamore Tree in Hague Preserve
In January 2023, Hague Foundation announced the acquisition of the 64-acre Daugherty farm in Pickerington, Ohio. It is now designated Hague Nature Preserve and will serve as a protection of forested area and a portion of the Sycamore Creek watershed in Fairfield County.
Restoration work underway includes removal of invasive plant species and protection of habitat that houses an endangered bat species. Folks interested in volunteering in this work are welcome; contact us at info@billjoycehaguefoundation.org.
Hague Nature Preserve will be open to the public on a limited basis during restoration.
